Tim Dougherty – Tim
Tim Dougherty plays Truman Capote in Danny Strong’s film Rebel in the Rye which premiered at Sundance and opened last fall. He starred in the short film Straight Eye For the Gay Guy: which won Best Mini Short in the California Indie Film Festival. It also screened at Cannes, Chelsea, Santa Fe, Soho, Boston LGBT, Long Island, Honolulu and Fresno film fests. Tim is member and co-founder of Bulb Comedy, and often appears on NYC’s Improvolution stage, a Groundlings-based theatre. He appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers as well as numerous appearances on Jimmy Kimmel. His other TV and movie credits include Drake and Josh, Blue Collar TV, Wizards of Waverly Place and Santa Claus 3. In Los Angeles, he performed with the classical theater company, Antaeus, in Arcadia, Macbeth, and Oedipus. He recently finished Pace University’s BFA acting program. At Pace, he was seen in Middletown as well as Women and Wallace and Self-Accusation. He is repped by Abrams Artists (commercially) and Judy Boals Inc. (theatrically) in New York and Hervey Grimes in Los Angeles, where he was born.
Jade Ziane – Abdul
Jade Ziane is a Moroccan actor who has appeared Off Broadway in Tennessee Williams 1982 at Soho Repatory Theatre and Solutions Grassroots at the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Irondale Center. NYC credits include Queens Boulevard at Theatre Row, Julius Caesar at Access Theatre, and Big Love at the Michael Schimmel Theatre. When he isn’t performing, Jade has also taken to producing and directing, making his directorial debut with A Tempest by Amie Cesaire at the International WOW Haus and is currently coordinating the 4th annual NYC Tennessee Williams festival at the Duo. This is his screen debut.
